Heroes of the City Movie: App, DVD, Book {Giveaway}

*This is a sponsored post. However all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Finding decent apps for the kids is not as easy as I originally thought. When we first got the iPad I thought it would a super simple just go into the app store and download games. Pssh yeah that was not as easy as I thought it was. Heroes of the City Movie is the cutest app out on the market.

The app is centered around Heroes of the City, a television cartoon about rescue vehicles in a small town where everyone can be a hero!
 With the app you can follow the fantastically exciting adventures along with friends in town.

There’s Pauli Police Car and Fiona Fire Engine as they help the townspeople find thieves, put out fires, and solve one of the many mysteries that happen in the otherwise quiet town.

You will also get to know Calamity Crow, the most unlucky bird in town. Emphasizing friendship, Heroes of the City has a great deal of warmth and what can be accomplished by helping each other. The cartoon is primarily targeted at children age 3 – 7. But I did find that ‘Tyn would watch the show with Ash and I. Really think it’s about the movement and excitement that will get him to pay attention to what’s happening.

The Heroes of the City app is an all-in-one, safe and fun children’s app. A perfect app for children 2-6 years old. Ash and ‘Tyn absolutely loved cuddling together to watch the movies and play the games while I sipped my coffee and caught up on the world’s events. The app includes both movies and games, which is like a ‘twofer’. I didn’t have to help Ash navigate to a different app to watch the movies which was a breath of fresh air.

In the app you and your children will receive

  • More than six hours of entertaining movies!

  • Nine exciting games!

  • Air Play function for your Apple TV!

  • Collect trophies to unlock your own secret surprise!

  • One full movie episode, 3 games and a music video for free.”

The movies, the app, the book all of it is just excellent. The colors are bright and vibrant, the characters are incredibly likeable. So much so that the kids ran off with their Fiona Fire Engine and Paulie Police Car to join their beloved car collections for me to never see again. I caught a glimpse of Alice racing along the kitchen floor the other night while making dinner but then she disappeared again.
