I know what today is. Today brings not just a lot of raw emotions that many many other American’s feel but it brings a lot of others. This day 12 years ago threw my family into a tailspin. However I choose not to focus on that anymore. We are survivors. America has survived.
On to Wordless Wednesday!
We know summer is coming to end here on the coast. Every morning begins with thick banks of fog till around 11 am. Could you believe that to the right of the mailboxes is standing my teenager? It worries me but she refuses to let me stand with her till the bus comes. Something about it being not cool at 15 to stand with your 33 yr old mom and siblings. Pssh
Sy is such a sweetheart. He’s always there to help and care for anyone and everyone around him. He’s shoo’ing the mosquitos away from ‘Tyn. We are only at the stop for about 8 minutes but every morning we come back to the house covered in bites!

Do you see this guy? This intruder kept me from bed the other night for almost an hour. Finally threw enough flip flops to send him scurring away while secretly praying that he wouldn’t find my bed on the other side of the door jam!
