Good Morning Fitness Friday! It’s been a great week hasn’t it?
It’s funny how you get into working out a certain way that changing your routine sometimes feels like you’re cheating. This week I took off from Revolt and did Beachbody’s Turbo Fire only. Workouts were Fire 30, Fire 45, and Tone 30 with the husbands resistance bands. That right there is a challenge. I just don’t get the stupid bands, much prefer weights but I’ve left my 5lbs in the dust and working out with one 10lbs kettle bell is annoying so 20lbs resistance band it is.
Yes I was a horribly nasty sweaty mess after doing Fire 30 AND Fire 45 back to back;
but like this saying goes…
I didn’t regret it one single bit. Yes a tad bit sore here and there but the endorphins we get from exercise is a natural “high” and just improves us mentally all around! I’ll take that feeling any day over dragging through the day. Stress is a huge part of my every day life and it needs to go. After working out, it feels like the reset button has been hit and the days task list gets easier to manage.
The weight hasn’t changed much and again not really too worried about it anymore. This week was spent more on focusing on my endurance then anything. I really wanted to make 90 minutes of straight cardio; got to 80 this week. Not too shabby really.
